Everyone has been hit by the recession in some way or another, that
is why we at SOULTOURING believe we
should help you out if you are planning a holiday to South Africa in 2010
and 2011.
We have decided to cut our profits for tourists
coming to Cape Town.
We shall earn less but are still enthusiastic about showing you our beautiful
SA countryside, whether or not you are doing a day tour in Cape Town,
a wine tour in Stellenbosch or an overland bike or adventure holiday along
the Garden Route or in the Karoo. |

Some information about Soultouring in Cape Town
Soultouring was founded in 2005 in Cape Town, South Africa. Cape Town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and a preferred training destination for local and international cyclists, offering a warmer alternative during the cold winter months in Europe. We often see international and local professional teams training on some of our tour routes. The concept was created after many years of cycling the "Cape Argus race" and following the routes of the "Giro del Capo" professional race. And of course Soulriding's extensive search for new and exciting coastal and mountain pass routes, which are all documented with "GPS" route coordinates. Come and enjoy the sun of South Africa!.

Each tour is graded on a level of difficulty and fitness. This is measured on days distances travelled and the level of fitness. We would like you to choose your holiday accordingly. The difficulty levels are graded on road surfaces, the technical skills required to complete the routes and also the amount of hills to climb. Please note that your individual physical fitness has the greatest part to play on how tired or how well you cope on a tour. However we do not mind you taking time out in the tour bus along the way, after all you are on holiday.

Can be enjoyed by less experienced cyclists. The pace is gentle, and the terrain flat with some hills and mainly tar roads, you do not need to be an experienced cyclist. You should be physically fit and enjoy outdoor exercise.

| I took part in a pre Cape Argus race training programm with Charles from the 2nd March till the 12th March 2007. The training programm for the race was well structured, and the touristic highlights innovative and varied. Charles knows all the best spots in Cape Town and is a good organiser. His skills as a guide and his willingness to please is exceptional. I would like to thank him for a great time in Africa and hope to come again. |
