SOUTH AFRICA IS A MTB heaven! There are so many fantastic trails it will blow you away. The Western Cape has lots of exciting routes, discovered and waiting to be uncovered, most days are hot and sunny in our destination, the semi desert area of the KAROO!!!

Trip duration:	4 day mtb trip in the mountains and coastal regions
Distance riding:	60km to 120km per day

Tour itinerary:-
4 Day mtb trips departing from Cape Town going to the Lower Karoo and Knysna:-
• Join one of our adrenalin filled mtb 4 day trips here in the Western Cape- you ride the following great trails in SA
• Swartberg Pass in the Lower Karoo
• routes used by the Cape Epic on a Buffelskloof farm near Carlitzdorp and gravel roads near Oudtshoorn
• Hakerville Forest and Homtini trails in Knysna
• DAY 1 - riding 25km We start by picking you up from your hotel or accommodation in Cape Town, at 07.30am in the morning. We transfer to near Oudtshoorn and go and have lunch on an ostrich farm - lunch inclusive
• After lunch we head for Buffelskloof, our victorian farmhouse and meet the owners Margret and Marnie. They settle us in to our shalets on the farm. We check the bikes and head out early evening for a short ride on the farm and a night ride!!, lots of fun, hope you have your lights!!
• After the ride our hosts prepare a lekkar braai(grill evening), relax and have a few beers.
• DAY 2 - riding 130km After a hearty breakfast, and of course an ostrich omlette, one egg is enough for us all, we head out from the farm on gravel roads towards the pass, yes today we cycle the Swartbeg pass to Prince Albert and back to the farm. We stop for Lunch in Prince Albert before tackling the descent. A hard days cycling is rewarded by good home farm cooking.
• DAY 3 - riding 65km Todays riding is on single track on the farm, some used in the Cape Epic 2007 and gravel roads in the area. We enjoy another evening on the farm, with more of Margret's great cooking.
• DAY 4 - riding 70km Today we head back down to the coast and ride the famous rides of Hakerville Forest and Homtini in the Knysna area. After having a late lunch in Knysna, we head back to Cape Town reaching there in the evening.
