DAY 1 •
Cape Town – Table Mountain (single track) |

| Ater your arival in the guest house in the City Bowl, take time to refresh and build the bikes. In the afternoon we crank up some routes on Table Mountain, awsome downhills |

DAY 2 •
Cape Town – Tokai Forest (single track) |
|
|
| Ride some excellent single track amoung fynbos bushes and resident baboons in the Tokai Forest. In the afternoon we visit a wine farm in Durbanville. In the evening we relax at the V&A Waterfront, and eat a seafood dinner. |

DAY 3 •
Stellenbosch – Jonkershoek (single track) |
|
|
| Rough it up the Jonkershoek/Nature Reserve, mountain biking at its best here in the Winelands. Great climbs and downhills with breathtaking views back to cape Town. After the ride explore Stellenbosch and sample some of the wines from this sun blessed valley. |

DAY 4 •
Montagu – Mont Eco (single track and jeep tracks) |
|
|
| We head out of Cape Town and take the Route 60 to Montagu from the Breede River one travels alongside the old Bain's road through the spectacular Cogmans Kloof eventually negotiating the Hole in the Rock, known locally as the Gateway to the Klein karoo. Here we ride jeep and single track in the MontEco private Nature Reserve. You might see some of the buck species here while cranking up the trails, a popular 4x4 meeting point. |

DAY 5 •
Calitzdorp – Red Stone Hills (single track and gravel) |
|
|
| Ride some off the beaten track gravel roads and single track, on a farm used by the "Cape Epic Race" in 2007. Time permitting we visit the Cango Caves or an ostritch farm, our evening quarter is an on colonial working farm, where we enjoy a beer under the stary skies on the stoop of the old homestead. Experience traditional farm cooking. |

DAY 6 •
Prince Albert – Swartberg Pass (gravel road) |
|
|
| After a hearty breakfast of ostritch scrambled eggs, we ride from the farm to the bottom of the Swartberg Pass. Build up your courage and we attack the Swartberg Pass, the best mountain bike riding in Soth Africa. Enjoy the thrill of the downhill to Prince Albert. The village is a small gem in the Karoo, a semi desert region with beautifully preserved Cape Dutch architecture and old Victorian buildings, 13 of which are national monuments. |

DAY 7 •
Plettenberg Bay – Prince Alfred's pass (Gravel) |
|
|
| Stretch your legs from the hard ride yesterday, and transfer to Uniondale. Here we cycle the spectacular and challenging prince Alfred's Pass en-route to the warm Indian Ocean. Why not take a swim to cool off. We spend the next two days here in Plettenberg Bay, a coastal town on the Garden Route. |

DAY 8 •
Plettenberg Bay – Hakerville Forest (single track) |
|
|
| We ride today the famous mountain bike routes in Hakerville Forest on the Garden Route. After the exhilerating ride we spend the day relaxing on the beach or partake in other activities (bungee jumping at Storms River, visit an elephant nature park) available in this area. |

DAY 9 •
Knysna – the jewel of the Garden Route – Homtini Trail (single track) |
|
|
| Cycle the Homtini trails behind Knysna in a mountain reserve, a good climb then a rewarding downhill at the end. In the afternoon take time to do some shopping at the Waterfront, or enjoy a Coffee Latte at one of the many cafes. Go for a boat ride around the Lagoon, or visit Knysna's own brewery. In the evening we enjoy the seafood offered here in town. |

DAY 10 •
George – Old 5 Passes road |
|
|
| Today we ride on the old gravel pass road from Knysna to George, experience lesser known Cape roads folling the routes the settlers took. After a swim at Victoria Bay we head for our guest farm and enjoy a traditional South African grill evening(braai). |

DAY 11 •
Swellendam – Breede River (gravel back road) |
|
|
| Today we do some gravel riding towards Malgas and Swellendam, we cross the Breede River over an old car ferry. |

DAY 12 •
Hermanus – Shaws Pass (tar and gravel) |
|
|
| We head back along the coast towards Hermanus, here we ride a great downhill on Shaws pass heading back to the coast again. Here on the coast Hermanus offers some of the best land-based viewing points for whale watching in the world. |

DAY 13 •
Grabouw – Lebanon Trail (single track) |
|
|
| Get your adrenalin going while cycling the spectacular lebanon trail through fynbos and pine forests. Awsome 10 km downhill stretch, do it twice if you feel like!!, or swim in a dam above the orchids. We stay at the trail center in old workers cottages, and tell old bike tails around the campfire. |

DAY 14 •
Cape Town – Chapmans Peak (pass tar road) |
|
|
| We make our way back to the Mother City, and have time for a ride along the famous Chapmans Pass, the coastal riden in the "cape Argus Race" in March every year. We pack the bikes and we transfer you to the airport of your hotel. Farewell to Africa today after an exhilerating mountain bike holiday. Riding Distance:600km |
